My husband Graham and I drove with canoes, gear and 4 friends to Tatogga Lake, BC, then took a float plane to one one the headwaters lakes of the Stikine River - Lake Tuaton. It was a breathtaking flight, with gorgeous contrasts of the bright fresh green of the Sacred Headwaters meadows, contrasted with the many-coloured mountains. When the flurry of activity subsided and we were all safely on shore and the floatplane had left, I looked up, back the way we had come. The beauty of the mountains, lake and distant pass took my breath away. And so here we are, years later, sharing this with others.
